The Auto Lock Cap is a lid-style closure format that snaps securely into place over a tray or box base using an interlocking tab mechanism to hold the cap in place without tape, adhesive or a separate locking step at the packing station. The cap is pressed down over the top of the assembled tray and automatically locks through tabs that engage the sidewalls of the tray as the cap is pressed into place. This results in a secure, professional closure that holds through shipping and handling but is still easy for an end customer to open cleanly.
