A locking closure mechanism keeps the box securely sealed during retail handling and shipping without a tape or adhesive seal, making the package look cleaner on a retail hook and giving customers confidence that the product has not been opened or tampered with prior to purchase. The locking structure also provides a physical barrier for small, high-value, or theft deterrent items that cannot be provided in the same retail environment with open trays or loose packs.

Typically, the hang tab is die cut from the top panel of the box in a reinforced configuration, so that the hang tab will support the weight of the filled package on a standard retail hook without tearing or bending over the display period. For heavier products we can add a separate reinforced hang tab panel or euro slot configuration to spread the hanging load more evenly over the package.

We produce Box with Hanging and Locking in cardboard and corrugated materials, with full color printing on all exterior panels. Window cut outs can be chosen so that the product can be seen through the front face of the box when hanging on display. All printable surfaces can be finished in the full range of ways.
